The Palazzo Margherita building started life in the late 1800’s as the first hotel in the yet to be discovered town of Positano, a small and rustic fishing village between Sorrento and Amalfi.

Today the Palazzo Margherita consist of 9 luxury apartments.

The small local bus stop is just 20 metres from Palazzo Margherita’s front door adjacent to an excellent delicatessen which offers home deliveries of all delicious local products. This bus will also take you for a 15 minute spin around town accessing all your favourite restaurants and shops

Clients should arrive between 2 – 7 pm. Later arrivals will attract a surcharge of 50 euro and there will be no check ins after 10pm. Please notify me if you are aware of travel problems.

Checkout time is before 10am on your day of departure.

All train, flight and/or ship arrival details are appreciated on the time of booking.

And mobile phone numbers are requested where possible to keep track of arrivals and departure.

An advanced food supply can be organized prior to your arrival. Just send Amanda your list. E.g. breakfast food, wine, fresh bread, cheeses, cold cuts, coffee etc, so please make sure you let us know on booking if you require this service.

50% of your total is due on booking to hold the property.

This 50% deposit is only reimbursable if a cancellation is made at least 180 days (apx 6 months) prior to arrival.  

The payment should be made via bank transfer only.

The balance of 50% is due at the latest 14 days before arrival.

Tariffs and Seasons for 2023 :

 2750 € a week OR 650 € a day

High Season : 1 April – 30 Sept weeks of Easter, Xmas & New Year – 3450 € – a week OR 750 € a day

Low Season : 1 Jan – 31 March & 1 October – 31 Dec – LS 2450 € a week OR 650 € a day

There is a 200 euro security deposit to be paid in cash on arrival. This will be reimbursed at the end of your stay minus any telephone or damage expenses incurred

180 days prior to the start date of rental, there is a full refund of the deposit, minus bank fees

179-120 days prior to start date: 50% refund of the deposit, minus bank fees

119 – 61 days prior to start date: 25% refund of the deposit, minus bank fees

60 days prior to rental: the remaining 50% balance is due & there will be no refund as the full amount will have been paid, unless Covid related, please speak to Amanda.
