In the early 1800s, this historic building was the holiday residence of Napoleon Bonaparte’s brother-in-law, the King of Naples, Joachim Murat. Built in the 17th century this glamorous building tucked away from the wars and chaos of the time, was almost impossible to access…… so became Murat’s haven and peaceful summer residence.
