Most Hotels and Guesthouses with subtract a one night’s stay from the client’s credit card if there is a cancellation made after a certain date, which will be specified on booking. A second night surcharge may apply if a cancellation is made closer to the date of the booking. In most cases, a ‘no show’ will be charged for the full stay.
All cancellation conditions should be read on the individual hotel or guesthouse website when making a booking.
In the event of a cancellation after deposits or full payments have been made, refunds are made by the property owner after deducting all bank fees and any cancellation fee applicable to their booking conditions. Refunds are made in Euro converted to your local currency at the rate of exchange applicable to the date of refund.
Cancellation conditions may vary slightly from property to property and will be confirmed at the time of booking. Unless otherwise advised the following cancellation conditions apply to all properties.
If a booking is cancelled:
- 6 months or more prior to arrival – There will be a full refund, less any bank charges.
- Between 4 and 6 months prior to arrival – There will be a refund less a cancellation fee of 25% of the full rental for the period of booking, minus all bank charges.
- Between 2 and 4 months prior to arrival – There will be a refund less a cancellation fee of 50% of the full rental for the period of booking, minus all bank charges.
- Less than 2 months prior to arrival – No refund is applicable.
